TERMS OF SERVICE.

The rules for using your ARTISTBREAD workspace, your public artist page and the tools you use to earn your bread. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

01

The agreement

These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and ARTISTBREAD ("ARTISTBREAD", "we", "us") covering your use of the ARTISTBREAD website, artist workspace, public artist pages, fan accounts and every related feature or service we provide.

By creating an account, publishing a public artist page, accepting fan payments or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you have read these terms, accept them and have the authority to enter into them. If you are using ARTISTBREAD on behalf of a band, label, management company or other organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use ARTISTBREAD.

02

Who can use ARTISTBREAD

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to receive earnings, sell products, accept memberships or enter into paid subscriptions. Where local law requires a higher age, that age applies.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, including your artist name, handle, contact details, booking details and payout information. Keeping that information current is part of using the service.

  • Artist accounts get the private growth workspace: catalog, smart links, promotion, Zoe guidance, fans, community and earnings tools.
  • Fan accounts get a separate fan workspace for following artists, supporting them and tracking that support.
  • One person may hold both an artist account and a fan account, but each account must be registered with its own email address.

03

Your account and security

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by band members, managers or team members you give access to. Keep your password private, use a strong and unique password, and tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, to impersonate another artist, to launder funds, to distribute content the user has no rights to, or in a way that puts other users, fans or the platform at risk.

04

Your music, artwork and other content

You keep all ownership of your music, recordings, compositions, artwork, videos, photos, written content, brand and any other material you upload or publish through ARTISTBREAD. We do not claim ownership of your work and we do not take a share of your copyrights, masters or publishing.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt technically (for example creating thumbnails and optimised image sizes), display and distribute your content strictly so we can run the features you have chosen — for example rendering your public artist page, generating your smart links, sending your mailing list messages or showing your catalog inside your workspace. This licence exists only for the purposes of providing and improving the service and ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period or where we must keep records by law.

You confirm that you own or have all necessary rights, licences and permissions for everything you publish, including any features, samples, session contributions, artwork, fonts and images, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.

  • Do not upload material you do not have the rights to distribute or promote.
  • Do not use ARTISTBREAD to publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, deceptive or dangerous.
  • Do not misrepresent another artist, label, brand or platform, or claim endorsements you do not have.

06

Public artist pages, handles and custom domains

Your public artist page lives at your ARTISTBREAD handle in the form /@yourhandle. Handles are allocated on a first-come basis. We may reclaim or reassign a handle that impersonates another person or brand, infringes a trade mark, is offensive, or has been created to hoard or resell handles.

If you connect your own custom domain, you remain the owner of that domain and are responsible for renewing it and keeping its DNS records pointed correctly. We provide the connection, certificate issuance and hosting for the page, but we cannot control outages or configuration changes at your registrar or DNS provider.

You control which sections of your page are visible, including music, community, memberships, products and booking details. Anything you make visible on your public page — including your booking email and phone number — becomes publicly accessible, and you are responsible for choosing what to publish.

07

Plans, billing and cancellation

ARTISTBREAD offers a Free plan plus paid Pro and Premium plans. Pro is £2 per month or £22 per year, and Premium is £9 per month or £99 per year, with the annual options offering a saving against the monthly price. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and may exclude taxes, which are calculated at checkout where applicable.

Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for plan purchases. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Except where required by law or offered explicitly by us, payments already made for a completed period are non-refundable. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may downgrade or restrict paid features until payment succeeds. We may change plan pricing or the features included in a plan, and where a change affects your renewal price we will give you reasonable notice beforehand so you can decide whether to continue.

08

Your Bread: tips, products, memberships and payouts

Fan payments — tips, digital product purchases, membership subscriptions and similar support — are processed through our payment provider. ARTISTBREAD is a technology platform: we provide the checkout, records and reporting, and we are not a bank, an escrow service, a money transmitter or a party to the underlying relationship between you and your supporter.

You set your prices, describe what a supporter receives and are solely responsible for delivering it. That includes delivering digital products, honouring membership benefits, answering supporter questions, responding to booking enquiries and handling your own refund decisions in line with consumer law where your supporter lives.

Payment processing fees, applicable platform fees and any taxes are deducted before funds are made available to you. Payouts are subject to identity verification, the payment provider's own rules and any holds we reasonably apply while investigating suspected fraud, chargeback abuse or unlawful activity. Chargebacks, reversals and refunds may be recovered from your balance or future earnings.

You are responsible for your own tax affairs, including declaring income earned through ARTISTBREAD and charging or remitting any sales taxes that apply to your sales.

  • Earning tools require a verified artist profile. Until verification is approved, tips, product sales and membership tiers stay locked.
  • Do not use ARTISTBREAD earnings tools for donations you cannot fulfil, prohibited goods, or transactions unrelated to your music career.
  • Keep your own records of sales, supporters and delivered products; you remain the seller of record for what you offer to fans.

09

Artist verification

To protect fans and reduce fraud, artists must complete verification before using earning tools. Verification may ask for a photo of a government-issued identity document, an identity number, links to your music profiles and social accounts, and other information reasonably needed to confirm you are who you say you are.

We use automated checks — including AI-assisted document and profile review — alongside human review. Automated checks assist a decision; they do not replace it. We may approve, request more information, or decline a verification request, and we may re-run verification if information changes or activity on the account suggests it is needed.

Submitting false, altered or borrowed documents is a serious breach of these terms and will result in loss of access to earning tools and, where appropriate, closure of the account and reporting to the relevant authorities.

10

Zoe and AI-assisted guidance

Zoe, your AI artist manager, produces suggestions, plans, campaign drafts and career guidance based on the information available in your workspace and on general music-industry patterns. Zoe's output is guidance, not professional advice — it is not legal, accounting, tax, financial, medical or contractual advice, and it does not guarantee any outcome such as playlist placement, streams, followers, revenue or press coverage.

You are responsible for reviewing anything Zoe generates before you publish, send or act on it, including copy that mentions release dates, prices, claims about your career or statements about third parties. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete.

To generate responses, relevant workspace information is sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not sell your content, and we ask providers to process it only to return the requested output.

11

Fans, community and mailing lists

Fan and supporter details collected through ARTISTBREAD — including email addresses gathered by your mailing-list sign-up — are provided to you so you can build a direct relationship with your audience. You act as the controller of that data for your own marketing and must use it lawfully.

That means only contacting people who chose to hear from you, honouring unsubscribe and deletion requests promptly, describing yourself accurately as the sender, and complying with applicable marketing and data-protection law such as the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and equivalent rules elsewhere. Selling, renting or repurposing your fan list beyond what your fans reasonably expected is prohibited.

12

Acceptable use

ARTISTBREAD exists to help independent artists build real careers with real audiences. Anything designed to fake that progress, harm other users, or interfere with the platform is prohibited.

  • No artificial streams, bots, click farms, purchased followers or engagement schemes, whether run inside or outside ARTISTBREAD.
  • No scraping, automated bulk data collection, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass plan limits, verification or access controls.
  • No probing, overloading or disrupting our infrastructure, and no uploading malware or malicious code.
  • No reselling, sublicensing or white-labelling the ARTISTBREAD platform without our written permission.
  • No use of our name, logo or brand in a way that suggests partnership, endorsement or affiliation you do not have.

13

Third-party services

ARTISTBREAD connects to services operated by others, including payment processing, cloud hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, AI processing, streaming and store platforms, and domain and DNS providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

We choose providers carefully, but we are not responsible for their availability, decisions or actions. If a third-party service changes its rules or becomes unavailable, some features may change or stop working, and we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative or to tell you what changed.

14

Our intellectual property

The ARTISTBREAD platform, including its software, design system, layouts, workspace structure, templates, brand, logo, name and written material, belongs to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the platform for your own music career while your account is in good standing.

Feedback you send us is welcome and may be used to improve the platform without obligation or payment, but sending feedback never transfers ownership of your own creative work.

15

Service availability and changes

We work to keep ARTISTBREAD available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, provider incidents and events outside our control can cause downtime.

We continue to develop the platform, which means features may be added, changed, combined or retired. Where a change materially reduces a feature you rely on within a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice and, where appropriate, an alternative.

16

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ARTISTBREAD is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the platform will meet every requirement, that guidance will produce a particular career result, or that data provided by third-party platforms is accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost fans, lost data, lost opportunities or indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, or £50 if you have not paid us anything.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

17

Suspension, termination and closing your account

You can stop using ARTISTBREAD at any time and can request deletion of your account from your settings or by contacting us. Closing your account cancels future renewals, unpublishes your public artist page and ends access to your workspace.

We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these terms, where required by law, where fraudulent or harmful activity is detected, or where continuing to provide the service is no longer viable. Where we can do so lawfully and safely, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right.

After termination, we will make reasonable efforts to release earnings properly due to you, less fees, refunds, chargebacks and any amounts we are required to withhold.

18

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country of residence.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly — most issues are settled quickly that way.

19

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops or as legal requirements change. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects your rights, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use ARTISTBREAD after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

20

Contact us

Questions about these terms, a verification decision, a payout or a takedown request can be sent through our contact page and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
